Bali Luxury Trip Part 5 - Ayung River Water Rafting

The 3rd Day we were in Bali, Ubud..
After Breakfast, we departed to Ayung River for an adventure acitivity -- Water Rafting!!
Seriously say, i felt a bit nervous as this was my 1st time.. huhuhu ><  Somemore... worry about my friend cos his leg was injured.. ><

Around 1 hour journey from villa, we arrived at the rafting start point. We wear up all the safety equipment and be ready to raft!!! yeah!!

From the car park, we have to go down around 400 steps to arrive at river side.. it took us about 20min.. WHY so long?? cos my friend's leg cant walk fast.. hahahhaha

What next?? come on..  Rafting!! Sooooo excited!! ^^

Along the way, we could see many beautiful view and the thing i must highlight here is balinese Art Work on the stone wall beside the river..

Wow.. It's nice right?? :) Yup!!.. so we must have some photograph with it.. and of course must included our rafting boat~~ :)

next highlight, the waterfall~~  arg~~ got many.. and all is beautiful~ love it.. <3

The 3rd point i wanna highlight here is our Rafting boat guide~Waryan.. He's so funny & friendly.. With this type of service for sure we would give more tips!! hahaha..
Which one is him?? yup.. the most action one.. or can i say the most dark one?? :p

After 1 hour Rafting, we took a rest at half way point for water drinking~ :) and we still have half way to go..

next, i wanna share some Bali's culture that i have learn when we rafting..
1. Bali people like to take bath in river..

He was naked!! how i know?? cos i saw his underwear was put on the stone beside the river.. lolzz.. ><

2. Bali people like to taking thing on their head.. err.. @@

I think the wood at least got 30kg.. crazy women~ @@

After 2 hours rafting.. we arrived at the end point.. and we end of our activity with a free simple bali's style buffet in a restaurant..
As a conclusion.. we all happy with this activity.. it's not dangerous at all.. i even saw a 5 years old girl rafting with his dad.. yup.. i guess she is 5.. :p

See.. we all so happy.. :p
Will keep all this in my memories~~ :)

Bali Luxury Trip Part 4 - Temple Tirta Empul

After Lunch, we were visiting Temple Tirta Empul. This was the 1st Bali temple we visited.. Lets see.. :)

Well.. this is the main entrance.. :) 1..2..3.. snap!!!

After enter to this temple.. the 1st thing you will see is a large pool.. with many Koi fish inside.. the fish are very big.. some of them as large as 2 meters long!!! Don't believe me?? Go there and see yourself~ lolzzz..

As we still felt full after our lunch at Kintamani.. 15min break for chit chatting.. :p

I think we were the lucky one.. as the time we arrived was the time they finished praying. We can see, most of the local people walking out from temple with carrying thing not by hands but on head!! Wow~~ i have learn a chapter about Balinese Culture~ :)

By enter to this temple.. no short pants allowed!! What to do if you wear shorts???!! Don't worry.. a "Sarung" more suitable to you.. ^^

In Balinese, this temple call "Pura Tirtha Empul". Pura means Temple and Tirtha Empul means Holy Water.. so direct translate to English - Temple of Holy Water.. Wow.. but.. where is the water?? Come.. i show you~ :)

i believe when you taking bath with this holy water, all the sin that you have will gone~~  You dont believe it?? well, non of my business~~ lolzz.. ><

For me.. Bali is a place full of Art.. no need i explain much.. the pic will tell you~ :)

Very lucky again.. i got a chance to see local people praying in a small group.. I think they are in one family.. :)

A short story about a balinese little boy~
When people go through beside him, he would ask "How are you!!". Then people would answer him "fine.. thankss .. how about you??" he would answer "i'm fine.. Thank you!!" :)
May be for you it just a normal conversation, but for me he just amazing.. not sure how old was him.. i believe not more than 5 years old.. but he can speak an excellent English.. Wow.. no wonder Bali succeed in their tourism industry.. :)

Ok.. Time up!! it's time to go back Villa and rest~~ ^^
